Apple launches 2TB iCloud Storage plans just before the iPhone 7 launch
Just a week before the iPhone 7 launch, Apple has introduced a new tier in its iCloud storage plans. A new tier that offers 2TB of space will costs you $19.99 a month in the US, or £14 in the UK.
Till now iCloud have largest tier 1TB for $9.99, it was roughly eight times as large as the top storage model – 128GB.9to5mac, which first reported on the new tier, noted that there are rumors swirling around that Cupertino is launching a 256GB iPhone 7 during the event.
With this expandable storage of 2TB Apple appears to want to maintain same ratio for the anticipated 256GB variant.
If you don’t want that much storage space than you can continue to pay for lower tiers, 50GB, 200GB, 1TB. These plans cost $0.99, $2.99, $9.99 per month respectively.
