It is the Misperception that a woman can’t ahead of a man. But when it comes to Rio Olympics Indian women proves this perception, just a hogwash. After Sakshi Malik Breaks open India’s medal chest with Bronze, it is now Ninth Seeded Shuttler, P.V Sindhu who make the country proud with silver medal.
She even create the history to become the first Indian woman to win the title. She fought like a tigress before going down to the Spaniard Carolin Marin in the women’s badminton.
When we talk about other women Athletes who just missed by the closest points, Long-distance runner Lalita Babar became the second Indian woman to qualify for the final of track and field event at Olympics.Gymnast Dipa Karmakar finishing fourth in the women’s vault gymnanstics.
This is the perfect example, where women saved the country’s reputation at the international sports event at the time when they really need ones.
