Payment Dispute Delays the pre-production of “Mission Impossible 6”
Paramount Pictures puts the brake on “Mission Impossible -6” over payment dispute. The issue is the Back-end fees for producers, like Cruise, Bad Robot and Skydance which Paramount balks to pay.
The studio wants to pay around what he made for Rogue Nation, while Cruise wants more money than he is getting for “The Mummy”, the movie he is working on.
Mission impossible-6 is in the early stage. McQuarrie pens the Script of the movie and the studio recruited a team in London to start designing the visual effects.
Paramount planned to begin production in January 2017 for a 2018 release date. So they have enough to settle down the deal to start the movie on time.
The other movies in the “Mission: Impossible” franchise is 2015’ “Rogue Nation”-hauled in $195 million worldwide, per Box office Mojo. “Mission Impossible: 6” is a big priority for Paramount and that also with Cruise. So we are hoping to get their deal Straightened out Soon.
