“Star wars” fan, fighting with Cancer, wishes to watch movie before he died
Neil Hanvey, 36 year old man who is suffering from terminal cancer has a last wish to watch “Rogue one: A Star Wars Story.” Hanvey said in April that he had only eight months to live, whereas the movie is releasing in mid –December.
So Hanvey’s Wife, Andrea and hospice worker Amy Duncan started a campaign on Facebook urging the support of the nation to help him see the movie before it hit the theaters. The story soon become viral with the hashtag #Rogueonewish, which gained the momentum.
Support has been coming in from all over the world. Mark Hamill herself stand up in the support of Daniel with other celebrities like Paul Davis, Rio Olympics 2016 Mountain Bike manager also tweeted from the starting.
It is not the first this type of campaign took place. A megafan Daneil Fleetwood with a terminal illness also campaigned to see the “Star wars: The Force Awakens” before he passed away. With the support Daniel got to see an early screening of the movie.
Now it is Neil who needs the support. So help Neil by using the hashtag on social media so that Disney and Lucasfilm know we all want Neil to get his wish fulfilled.
